Hello my name is Patrick Carr, a fully qualified A Grade driving instructor. I would like to introduce you to my driving school in Preston and Lancaster, and my teaching philosophy, and how it can help you achieve your objective of passing your driving test, confidently, safely and as quickly as possible with professional driving lessons in Preston and Heysham.

I have been a fully qualified D.S.A driving instructor in Preston and Heysham since 2001, initially training and qualifying with a major national company. I spent a further year developing my experience and teaching techniques with a well known and established local driving school and then formed my own driving school.

My teaching philosophy is simple and has been very effective, to encourage driving development by being professional, knowledgeable, patient and most importantly engaging and encouraging my pupils. Your views and opinions will be valued and it is my job to help you learn to drive in a way that suits you best, either by detailed explanation, visual aids, demonstrations or a combination of all these. I will try to make lessons easy to understand, involving and enjoyable. I am a great believer in people thinking and acting for themselves as soon as possible. Learning to drive should be structured, easy to understand and enjoyable.
